seasonal
seasonal is an indie rock band from Lancaster, Pennsylvania known for their blend of atmospheric, twinkling guitars and heartfelt lyrics reminiscent of years past. Drawing inspiration from bands like American Football, Death Cab for Cutie, Moving Mountains, and Slowdive, the band formed in 2014 and remained an enigma until its debut EP release "The World We Chose to See" in May 2015. Since then, seasonal has become a mainstay in the Lancaster music scene and has played countless shows around the northeast. Their 2015 release was followed up by a second, 3-track self-titled EP in 2017. seasonal will be releasing its first full length album "The Summers to Come" on April 28th, 2021 (recorded in 2019). The band's future remains unknown after frontman Ethan McDonnell's tragic and unexpected death following complications from surgery on April 7, 2020.
